With the minaturisation of components, the advent of designer
phones became possible. One of the most famous of these
is the Trimphone, designed for the GPO in 1966 by Martin
Rowlands. The Trimphone has become famous not only for its
ground-breaking design, but also for its unmistakable electronic ringer, on which many subsequent ringers were based. The
telephones shown on this page are very good reproductions
of the original
dial versions. This working telephone has today`s technology,
a functioning rotary dial, with last number re-dial and
digit-repeat feature. The volume of the famous Trimphone
electronic ring can be controlled using the rotary control
wheel on the side. We fit each telephone ordered with a
plug that is compatible with the telephone system in the
country to which the telephone is being sent. All telephones
have a 12 month guarantee, and beyond this period
we offer a full repair service. |
